Mission Statement

Our goal is to help keep Blues Music alive and to do that we must get the younger people into the Blues. The Tony Colter Foundation will generate a music scholarship for youth in Baltimore City. We will raise money to buy a child an instrument, provide them with in person music lessons at the Baltimore School of Rock, give an iPad for any virtual learning opportunities and give them special course on the Blues. This is an annual scholarship we will present to a child who attends Baltimore City public schools. To keep the Blues going we must take it to the next generation while also honoring the musicians who came before us.
